
Biography
Matías Cardozo holds a Bachelor's Degree in Guitar from the National University of Rosario (Argentina).
He began his training with guitarist Cristian Loza, studying jazz harmony, improvisation, and guitar arranging—skills he complemented with a solid foundation in classical guitar.
During his early university years, he studied under Maestro Gabriel Paulochenka, and later completed his degree under the guidance of renowned professors Eduardo Isaac and Juan Almada.
While at the School of Music of the National University of Rosario, he served as a teaching assistant in the subjects Harmony Techniques and Counterpoint, Guitar (Introductory Cycle), and Practical Guitar Harmony. These experiences greatly influenced his approach to studying, interpreting, and arranging music. He was also a recipient of the Introductory Cycle Support Program (P.A.C.N.) and the Merit Scholarship.
He has participated in workshops, seminars, and masterclasses led by distinguished artists such as Eduardo Isaac, Berta Rojas, Marcelo Coronel, Miguel de Olaso, Eduardo Fernández, Juan Almada, Pablo Márquez, among others.
In 2022, he completed a Master’s Degree in Cultural Services at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), further expanding his academic and professional training in the cultural field.
